How Often Should I Get My Vehicle Detailed?

Having your vehicle in a regular schedule for cleanings and detailings can be a daunting task to get started. Straddling the line between keeping your beautiful car looking its best and keeping a sensible maintenance budget for that beauty may be difficult for some car owners. What does Corey recommend?

Interior/Exterior Detailings – A thorough cleaning top to bottom to remove dirt, grime, road film and other debris from your car’s exterior through hand washing and drying from roof to rim. Turning to the inside, a thorough wipe-down of all hard and non-porous surfaces of the vehicle’s interior with a towel and cleaner, a deep vacuum, spot cleaning and extraction cycle to remove stains and stubborn dirt. This full detailing service is recommended every 1-2 months to maintain a vibrant exterior and clean interior that keeps up with regular use and life.

Surface Protectant Applications – After a deep cleaning of the vehicle on one of its normal detailing services, reapplying a surface protectant such as a spray wax or sealant is recommended every 3-6 months to maintain a protective coating for the clear coat of your car’s paint. Adding this protectant gives an additional layer of coating that allows water to sheet off of the paint more efficiently, leading to less water spots and a longer clean in between detailings.

Schedule your appointmentetailing.com/schedule with Corey today to get your vehicle on a recommended detailing schedule to prolong the life and condition of your car, truck or SUV’s interior and exterior.
